Papermint is designed from the ground up as a privacy-first application.
No File Uploads: All document scanning, PDF conversion, image cropping, filters, merging, splitting, compressing, and unlocking operations happen entirely on your physical device.
Offline First: We do not run any cloud servers, databases, or online storage systems to collect, process, or store your documents, images, or PDF files. Your files never leave your device.
2. Permissions We Request
To provide core document tools, the app requests the following system permissions:
Camera Permission: Used solely to capture physical documents for scanning and converting into PDF format. We do not store or transmit camera feeds.
Storage/Photos Access: Used to open images or document files from your device and save the exported PDFs.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Papermint uses third-party advertising services (Google AdMob) to display advertisements. These services may collect and use information to personalize ads:
Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers (AD_ID), IP addresses, and standard device log details.
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
